This quest is meant for a fellowship. If you choose to undertake this quest solo you will receive an Inspired Greatness bonus, but the challenge will be great.
- Completing this instance will automatically transport you back to Lhanuch.
- This is actually a fairly easy solo -- "at level." Disease potions are useful.
- This dungeon layout will seem familiar to many, the primary difference being that many of the "connections" visible on the map, are in fact blocked by rubble.
- Which passages are blocked and which ones are open is random. If you restart the instance, the blocked passages will change.
- A few steps past the entrance you encounter two Bestial Kergrim (19.5K at Lvl 64). They can be pulled individually by moving to the extreme left and taking out that one first.
- After passing through this round chamber, you are forced to turn to the left where you are confronted by a pathing Kergrim Heaver. Kill it. Then proceed straight ahead to the first "Deed Point" -- "the remains of a luckless unfortunate."
- Backtrack slightly and go down. You are forced to go to the right.
- Proceed all the way down the corridor, killing (probably) dancing lights and a stray Kergrim Heaver. At the last intersection, turn right.
- You will be confronted by another Kergrim Heaver. Kill it and proceed to the dead end. There you will encounter a "partially-eaten rat," Deed Point two.
- Backtrack and go straight ahead, ultimately you reach another dead end passage... "The earth on this slope has been disturbed, as if something heavy was dragged up it," Deed Point three.
- Backtrack again and take the (now) right hand turn kill a few more Wights and Lights the you come to a room with 4 Wights (three immediately visible and the fourth behind the piller) and the "Discarded Pouch," Deed Point four
- Go straight ahead to the "gap in the wooden bridge," Deed Point Five.
- Jump down and confront the Mud-Eater (another Kergrim) and his three Crypt Diggers.
- After you kill them, enter the Mud-Eater's Lair, Deed Point six, and talk to Anirin.
Note: At the Enedwaith Reflecting Pool, this instance is called Instance: Ergothorn Elf-Friend.
